Our Shipping Solution

Every year, seagoing ships in the Netherlands bunker over 11 million tonnes of fuel oil, 200,000 tonnes of marine gas oil, and 125,000 tonnes of lubricating oil. Even when their ship visits many other ports during its European cycle, shipowners usually opt for this; it’s not only a question of how many and how big the ports are. Cost is one of the many reasons why bunker ports in Rotterdam and Amsterdam are becoming more and more popular. Rotterdam, one of the top three bunkering ports in the world, proudly displays the lowest bunker rates on the planet for both fuel oil and marine gas oil. A lot of cargo ships plan to travel from Europe to Asia and back.

The movement of petroleum products from tanker to tanker has increased in the US and the Netherlands. Operations involving a fleet feeder tanker and a mother tanker serving as temporary floating storage take place in a section of the sea designated by the relevant authority. Once the petroleum products are delivered from the refinery onto the mother vessel, feeder tankers will distribute them. Transfer services between ships can be tailored to each customer’s specific needs. This may include planning and overseeing ship-to-ship transfers on behalf of customers.
